Samantha M. Lawrence is a dynamic actress and vocalist based in the Los Angeles area. Originally from Maryland, Samantha started her acting career with Cima Talent Management, acting in local commercials, doing background work, and building experience with student and independent films. She also performed throughout the DC area with a funk band called Get to Steppin’as the lead singer in addition to her studies as an operatic soprano.
In 2016, she made the 3000 mile jump across the country to further pursue acting, and in doing so, she found a love for music theatre and the stage. Since coming to Los Angeles, she has been fortunate to work with several theaters in LA on popular productions such as Beauty and the Beast: The Broadway Musical (Belle, Casa 0101) and Songs for a New World (Woman 1, u/s) along with several others. Additionally, she has been featured in several commercials, music videos, short films, and voice over productions. Forever the musician, she also has a wide experience with various music genres and has performed music theater, opera, jazz, soul, funk, and R&B. The experience has made her a versatile actor with a drive to bring her best work to any part she comes across.
